Meet Me

  • Why a home salon?

    Owner

A home salon is more personal. When you come to my salon, you’re guaranteed a personalized experience with me, your stylist. I begin with a brief consultation about your hair needs.

Depending on the length of your appointment, I offer snacks and drinks that you like, as well as your choice of music or TV show.

  • Why hair?

    Stylist

I want African descendants to understand how the environment can affect our hair. The air is toxic. The water is toxic. The communities where some of us live are toxic. Our hair can absorb these toxins and create unhealthy hair.

I want African descendants to love our hair. We have lost a connection to our natural texture by … We should do everything we can to heal ourselves, and one way is to begin with taking care of our natural hair in healthier ways.

  • Who is Kesi?

    Naturalist

I have been doing my own hair since I was 16 years old.

I graduated from Frank H. Peterson High School, where I learned to perfect braiding, locs, natural, and crochet hair styles.

Fortunately, I am able to do knotless braids and quick weaves. My specialty will always be natural hair. I am passionate about helping Black women and men learn to care for and love their natural hair.
